Accessibility
Our commitment to a website and a church home that everyone can use.
Our commitment
Comunidade Brasileira Adventista (CBA Orlando) wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation. We aim to follow common accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time task.
What we do
We build this site with semantic HTML, descriptive page titles, alternative text on meaningful images, sufficient color contrast, keyboard navigation, visible focus, and support for reduced-motion preferences. We test as we add new pages and fix issues as we find them.
A welcoming building
Accessibility is not only about the website. We want our gatherings to be welcoming and reachable in person, too. If you have a mobility, hearing, vision, or other access need for a visit, a service, or an event, let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to help you participate comfortably.
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as embedded maps, videos, and live streams, may not fully meet the same standard. Where we can, we provide the same information in an accessible format on request.
How to report a barrier or ask for help
If you run into a barrier on this site, need content in an alternative format, or want help with an in-person accessibility need, please reach out. It helps us if you include the page address and a short description of the problem.
